Qualitative Experience Review
Finally, before certifying an integration, PartsSource will review the implementation using our industry experience around what makes a meaningful and impactful experience for our customers.
Ordering
Customers should be able to have a smooth ordering experience with clear updates and state transitions
Referencing
Customers should be able to accurately lookup the current status of their orders and understand any actions that might be necessary
Returns
Customers should have a clear method for initiating a return with recognizable steps and statuses in the process
Approvals
Orders requiring approvals should clearly communicate the approval needs of the organization and what the customer should expect in that process
Integration Certification Use Cases
The following use cases should be accounted for in the overall integration design

The user will enter the PO or credit card directly in PartsSource.com checkout.
1. PartsSource.com Approval process can be leveraged as needed.

The user has PO will enter the PO in the Awaiting PO screen.

The user will Submit for PO to CMMS. CMMSwill be responsible for getting the PO, and then applying it to the order via the PartsSource API.

The user will Submit for PO to CMMS. CMMS will be responsible for getting the requisition data to the ERP system. The ERP will communicate the PO direct to PartsSource via Email or EDI (preferred)

The user will “Submit for PO” to CMMS. The Approval Process will happen in CMMS. Once the approval is completed in CMMS, the PO would need to be applied to the order.
1. The PO will be manually entered in the Awaiting PO screen
2. The PO will be transmitted via EDI or email
3. The PO will come in via the PartsSource API.

Users can order extra parts in a work order and then reassign the spares to a stockroom experience

Users can enter PartsSource directly, create and complete a purchase and then bring the purchase into CMMS's tockroom experience or a work order

Users can order parts from PartsSource strictly for the purpose of replenishing a stockroom
